GIVING BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY

50-in-50-Foundation-logo

Giving back has always been a big part of who we are. In the early days of Windermere it was pretty simple; we would see a need and help any way we could. But as we grew, we realized we could accomplish much more if we had a common purpose. That’s how the Windermere Foundation was born.

Every dollar given goes to the local organizations we support.

Help us raise $4 million in 2022 to reach our goal of $50 million raised in 50 years in honor of Windermere’s 50th anniversary.

Thank you for your support!

Skookum 72 Hour Fundraiser

From June 22-24, Skookum is hosting a 3 day fundraiser benefiting foster kids who stay at our emergency shelters.

If you would like to donate, please select Skookum Kids below to place your donation.

Why is it only 72 hours?

The first few days of foster care can be incredibly scary and confusing. We provide a soft landing for children when they enter foster care at our emergency houses in Bellingham and Ellensburg.

These houses address what we call “The 72 Hour Problem” by providing a place for children to stabilize and buying time for social workers; all with the help of an amazing volunteer team!

Approximately 200 children every year spend their first few days in foster care with us.

Your participation in The 72 Hour Fundraiser provides vital support and spreads awareness, which helps solve The 72 Hour Problem.
