Professional Focus

I was twelve years old and just starting seventh grade when my dad, his new teaching contract in hand, moved our family from Holland, Michigan to Lynden, Washington. I didn’t realize back then that this place, Whatcom County, would become my lifetime home—whose individuals, communities, landscape and activities I enjoy and value more than anywhere else. My vocational path has followed those interests. In the years before I joined Windermere, I always worked with people, serving them in sales and consulting. In 2005, I decided to combine my love of people and of our area and entered the world of real estate. Finally, in 2006, I joined Windermere, a company that embraces the service values of excellence and integrity that are so important to me. For over twelve years now, I have entered people’s lives at pivotal times, helping them sell properties and buy new ones. I take my clients’ trust seriously, and do my best to provide them with thorough, expert representation, start to finish. From home hunting, evaluation and pricing, to marketing, contract preparation and negotiation, I represent buyers and sellers with the same care I would want to receive. My clients tell me I am patient, thorough and knowledgeable. They trust me with these life-changing transactions. I know Whatcom County well—and therefore I serve buyers from South Bellingham north to the border. I understand the distinctive offerings of Whatcom County’s small towns and can help acquaint you not just with houses, but with neighborhoods—and the amenities nearby. All of us who choose to call Whatcom County home find much to enjoy here. My wife and I especially appreciate the proximity to mountain hiking and water sports—and look forward to introducing our young son to endless adventures as he grows. I look forward to talking with you more about your dreams for your home here. Please don’t hesitate to call. I am here to serve you.
